Preserving faithful Bible teaching for continued use.
Baptist Lamp is a growing library of sermons, Bible lessons, and study resources organized to help churches families, and students of Scripture find faithful teaching with ease.
Why Baptist Lamp Exists
Good Bible teaching should not be difficult to find, scattered across old files, forgotten folders, or buried in places few people know to look. Baptist Lamp is here to preserve sermons, lessons, and study resources so they can continue serving people long after they were first preached or taught.
The goal is simple: make faithful teaching easier to access, easier to share, and easier to return to for continued study.
What’s Included in The Library

“Lux lucet in tenebris.”
“The light shines in the darkness.”
Dr. John E. Penn devoted his life to the faithful teaching and preaching of God’s Word. He served as a longtime Baptist pastor in Arkansas and taught Church History at the Missionary Baptist Seminary for 34 years, helping shape generations of pastors and students with a deep respect for Scripture, Baptist heritage, and doctrinal clarity. Through decades of preaching, teaching, missions, church organization, and verse-by-verse Bible instruction, his ministry pointed believers toward a firm biblical foundation in Christ.
